ST-SC433 Self-Cleaning Coatings

Product Introduction:
ST-SC433 self-cleaning antifouling coating is a high-performance coating specially designed for the marine environment. It aims to prevent marine organisms from adhering and fouling, and at the same time provides excellent anti-corrosion protection.

    Uses

It is mainly applied to parts such as ship hull surfaces, propellers, propeller shafts, sonar compartments, and sea chests. It can also be used for surface protection of other marine facilities and marine transportation tools, such as offshore platforms, dock facilities, and cross-sea bridges. It plays an important role in preventing microbial corrosion and adhesion and fouling of marine organisms on ships and marine concrete buildings.

    Construction process suggestions

Clean the base layer: Before the construction of the primer layer, conduct base layer inspection and acceptance. The surface should be flat, with distinct slopes and edges, no sharp foreign objects, no sanding, no peeling, no honeycomb pitting, no unevenness, and no rust and other defects. The surface of the base layer should be kept dry and there must be no visible water.
Special closed primer layer for polyurea: Spray, brush or roll to evenly apply the special closed primer on the surface of the base layer. (Construction of the primer layer is strictly prohibited if the surface of the base material is not completely treated.) The next step can be constructed only after it is completely dry. The construction interval should not exceed 24 hours.
Polyurea layer: Use hand brushing or spraying process for construction. Generally, it is carried out 2 hours after the primer construction is completed and before 24 hours. The construction thickness is about 0.5-1.5mm to ensure no missed coating, no accumulation, uniform construction, and one-time or multiple forming in place. (The thickness can be adjusted according to design requirements.)
Note: During the entire scraping process, be sure to repeatedly scrape forcefully using the cross method to avoid defect generation.
