Construction Process Recommendations
). Surface Preparation: Ensure the base surface is smooth, free of sand, peeling, honeycombing, or other defects. The surface should be dry, with no standing water present.
). Primer Application: Apply a specialized sealing primer evenly on the base surface using spray, brush, or roller. Proper priming is essential, and untreated areas on the substrate are prohibited. Allow the primer to dry completely before proceeding to the next step. The interval between primer application and the next layer should not exceed 48 hours.
). Polyurea Layer Application: Use manual application or standard cold spraying methods. Apply the polyurea layer generally 4-8 hours after primer application, within 48 hours at most. The recommended thickness for this layer is 1.5-3mm, ensuring complete, even coverage without gaps or pooling. Multiple passes may be used to achieve the desired thickness, which can be adjusted based on design requirements.
). Top Coat Application: Apply the top coat manually by brushing or spraying, with a thickness of 0.2-0.3mm. Ensure an even, uniform finish across the surface.
